BEYONCE FEAT. ANDRE 3000 – “PARTY” (PROD. BY KANYE WEST)

Beyonce

“I may be young but I’m ready
To give you all my love
I told my girls you can get it
Don’t slow it down
Just let it go
So in love
I’ll give it all away
Just don’t tell nobody tomorrow
So tonight
I’ll do it every way
Cause knockin’ til the morning light
Cuz we like to party…”

ANDRE 3000 ON PROGRESS

Photobucket

“Walk it out like Usher
If you say real talk I probably won’t trust ya. If you wanna go to war, the guns my pleasure.
Even Jesus had 12 disciples on the lever, trigger, whatever. Pumm, you don’t want no dega 3 thou,
I’m like jury duty, you’re new to this part of town
Your white tee, well to me, looks like a nightgown, Make ya mama proud,
take that thing two sizes down. Then you’d look like the man that you are, or what you could be
I could give a damn ’bout your car but then that would be. If it was considered a classic before the drastic change in production when cars were metal instead of plastic
Value is what I’m talkin about
Take two of these and walk it out
You be the reason they talk it out
You can’t be the king of the parking lot, forever…
Not saying I’m the best but ’til they find somethin’ better I am here no fear write me a letter
’til then…”

BIG BOI FEAT. ANDRE 3000 & SLEEPY BROWN – “LOOKIN’ FOR YA”

OutkastYeah, I know it’s a shame. A lot of us grew up on these two cats consistently pumping out some of the most mind-expanding shit known to man, and as groovy as The Love Below and Speakerboxxx turned out, it’s hard to throw on “Chonkyfire” without getting nostalgic for the days when 3 Stacks and Big Boi used to put out albums together. Every once in a while though, we get lucky enough to hear these two link up once again. “International Player’s Anthem”, “Royal Flush” and “Da Art of Storytelling 4″ were all personal highlights of the last few years. After Andre’s verse to this particular joint surfaced last year, the news broke that it was really a Big Boi track we’d be hearing around the time they released Sir Luscious Left Foot. No album yet, but the finished product is definitely a jam. Feel free to get juiced, get nostalgic or get down.

KOBE BRYANT + ANDRE 3000: ALL TOGETHER NOW

There’s new shit to blog about every single day. And some things are just cooler than others. In the process of browsing the daily selection, sometimes you get some pretty pictures. Other times you get a quality slap, or a funny video. And then some days, you get a new Nike commercial full of Kobe’s career highlights and classic hoops moments, all set to a Beatles song, covered by none other than 3 Stacks. I guess today’s just one of those days.

BIG BOI – “SHUTTERBUGG”

Big BoiIt’s looking like Sir Luscious Left Foot might finally see the light of day soon. Can’t say I expected any less, but we got a slap on our hands with the latest single. I’d call it the first single, but I think Big Boi already dropped two of those so far. All jokes aside, Scott Storch pulled out a banger for this one, which has been pretty unusual since he fell off the map a few years ago. The talkbox is a nice touch. On a related note, we’ll be hearing some new 3 Stacks soon, as the other half of Outkast is set to appear on three tracks from Luscious. Good things coming your way soon.

ANDRE 3000 ON MTV’S HOTTEST MC’S LIST

“I just say, ‘Man, everybody do your thing.’
I’d rather be number two
And everybody know I should be number one,
Than to be number one.
Then I have somewhere to go.”

KELIS FEAT. ANDRE 3000 – “MILLIONAIRE”

Stars

“Where there is cheese there are rats,

Wherever there are rats there are cats,

Wherever there are cats there are dogs. If you got the dogs you got bitches.

Bitches Always out to put their paws on your riches.

If you got riches, you got glitches.

If you got glitches in your life computer turn it off and then reboot.

Now you back on.

Can’t just put the cap on the old bottle once you pop it that will spoil it, gone and drink it and enjoy it.

Mama I’m a Millionaire.”

ANDRE 3000 – “LOOKIN FOR YA”

We apologize in advance for the DJ tags, but you know we had to do it. We got you when the full CDQ drops. Tapemasters Inc. came with the exclusive on a brand new track by 3 Stacks himself. Like the other scattered but brilliant tracks we’ve been privileged enough to hear from Dre over the past few years, this one is something serious. There’s certainly something to be said for a dude that can release just a handful of verses a year (and no albums in the last 3), and still be mentioned in damn near every “best rapper alive” conversation. Still waiting on those solo albums from both him and Big Boi, but for now we’ll settle on this.

OUTKAST – “MS. JACKSON”

Most of us had just entered high school. Some of the hottest J’s released this year. They dropped the XI’s, XVI’s, and I’s. Missy Elliot was doin it. So was 112. And 3LW existed (they wouldn’t have flopped with Ashley). Ms. Jackson dropped as the second single off of Stankonia. Believe it or not, the name ‘Ms. Jackson,’ refers to the real-life mother of Erykah Badu, Andre 3000′s ex-girl and mother of his son, Seven. A classic video, an undeniable slap.
