YOUTUBE TO STREAM OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL

For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket to this weekend’s Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, YouTube is coming with the joog. For the first time in the festival’s history, a live video stream will be broadcast via internet featuring performances by some of the industry’s brightest stars. For those in need of a reminder, The bill includes TV on the Radio, Q-Tip, Raphael Saadiq, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, M.I.A. and the Black Eyed Peas among many others. Can’t help but be a little salty at Tenacious D “replacing” Beastie Boys, but it’s all gravy. For the full list, enlarge the flyer above. The show goes down Friday through Sunday at Golden Gate Park. Catch the stream here.
