Ok Rihanna. I see you. I see you. You’ve come a long way from your Pon De Replay days. I guess it’s safe to say you’re an icon now. And for that, my congratulations. However, I’ve got a question to ask, and a bone to pick. How much of this is truly you? This video is dope and I fuck with it. Shit, I threw it on my blog. But I wonder if the lights, the cameras and clothes were gone would you still impress me so? I’m not sure. Maybe so, maybe no. Please don’t take offense. I just wanna see what you’re all about. I know a lot of girls that can sing, dance and pose. But I’m looking for one to blow me away.
Welcome

pon de replay still the best rihanna song…..that riddim is fyah…..i am i big dancehall head tho…..
True artists are students of the globe and their environments and they grow. She has grown beautifully and is so damn sexy!
“Hard” was a pretty massive step down from “Umbrella” in my humble. I think it still remains to be seen if she can make the kind of music we’re still gonna want to listen to years from now.
I was wondering the same thing. It’s like she gives temporary satisfaction in her videos but will she keep killin it and growing from here or just continue to scratch the surface? I ponder these things frequently about her.
It will be interesting to see. It’s like Rihanna hops on these huge machine driven singles (live your life, run this town) and adds her signature touch, but when there’s no one around I think she’s a bit lacking.
At the same time, her fit game is proper, and her face is pretty. So she’s winning in that department.
I like what you had to say fan, “True artists are students of the globe and their environments and they grow.” That’s something I definitely strive for with my work.
Thanks for the feedback
Haha well, we’ve already seen what happens when you take her fly clothes away and I guess it doesn’t do much to hurt her.
Good point.
I feel like this convo is pointless. Rihanna’s lack of talent is pretty obvious. She’s hella pretty and has a dope stylist. Other than that she is very dull and they don’t really have her showcase her vocal skills in the music that she records. She is not much of a performer. Its the looks and the catchy songs that keep her going. Thats what I think at least.
