KID CUDI FEAT. MGMT & RATATAT – “PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”

While I fuck with the song and this video so tough, the inherent statement of the song leaves a little to be desired. You see, the pursuit of happiness is flawed. If you’re in the pursuit of happiness, where are you at right now? Mediocre? Aight? So so? Doin bad? As I mentioned below, our happiness is within us as we can choose how we view the people places and things that make up our life. Happiness is not something external. The external only adds to the internal, but the internal’s been there since day one. Nonetheless, getting on and celebrating the moments never looked so good. We’ll be there soon. 2010. The Year of the Dreamer.

Happiness is internal, I fux with that, its just people get down and lose sight of that happiness off the frustrations of the external. That’s the human condition, and its near impossible to be happy all the time. You’re right though its all about internal attitude and you’re lucky you have knowledge of the right mindset.

heres to the pursuit of realizing dreams

Yeah, I think Josh was the producer though. Brody Baker directed as far as I know. Same dude that did this: http://vimeo.com/2616231 …I think we can charge him with biting. In some sense, no idea’s original though. Like I said, it’s still a great video.

I dig. I feel you on the unoriginality of ideas. Everything is based off something else I suppose. On another note, WHY are Drakes videos so extra hurt?
