This time around, a creative effort by German artist Hans Hemmert. In a collaboration with three other artists, Hemmert created this balloon tank. It’s interesting, as I continue to view more art, I am beginning to see that the use of materials in an unorthodox manner can reconstruct the meaning and message of a piece. A wonderful presentation of art on its own, it’s almost as if the use of balloons to create the tank functions to trivialize the purpose of tanks as an element of war.
